I am using the Calendar App in windows 8.1 Laptop. The app has serious shortcomings or It is that I am not aware and I plead ignorance. But the issue is. I have received my flight tickets on the Live Mail from airlines. I thought that the date of travel would be automatically added as an event in the calendar app. But I was wrong.. It just didn't happen. The calendar app on the Lumia Phone 8.1 also did not have the event auto added. Why is the calendar app in Windows so primitive.

This is the most useful calendar application the syncs calendars from gmail and outlook across cell, laptop and desktop. I depend on this app to keep me on schedule with appointments, birthdays and anniversaries. The interface across devices and reliability keep me on track. I recommend One Calendar and One Task.
